Bethlehem Lutheran Quilters

All are invited to meet in the church basement on Tuesday mornings from 9 am-Noon from September through May, to rip, press, cut blocks, sew and tie quilts made from discarded clothing and donated fabrics.  Devotions and Potluck coffee time is always provided.

Many full sized, youth or crib sized quilts have been put together.  Most of the quilts will be sent to needs all over the world, distributed through Lutheran World Relief.  These quilts serve as beds, tents from the blazing sun, carriers for goods and babies, as well as warmth during the cold, rainy days and nights.
Some quilts are kept for giving in our community such as the Giving Tree, Pathways, Rape & Abuse Center, Churches United, and local emergencies.  High School Seniors are also given a quilt in May before graduation.

Thank you to all who have donated clothing, fabric, and sewed at home.  We could not do this ministry without you!
